Piyush Mistry Takes on the Role of GM - Head of Cybersecurity at Oberoi Realty
We are excited to celebrate a new milestone in the journey of our Gold Member, Piyush Mistry, who has stepped into the role of GM – Head of Cybersecurity at Oberoi Realty.
With a career spanning over two decades across cybersecurity, technology leadership, infrastructure, and digital transformation, Piyush brings extensive experience in building secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology ecosystems.
Before joining Oberoi Realty, Piyush served as the Head of Technology & Cyber Security at National Urban Cooperative Finance & Development Corporation (NUCFDC), where he led initiatives focused on technology strategy, cybersecurity, governance, and operational excellence.
During his tenure as Head – IT at Capital India Finance Limited, he played a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives, managing enterprise applications, infrastructure, and information security. He successfully led cloud migration projects across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments while strengthening security frameworks and regulatory compliance aligned with standards including RBI, SEBI, NHB, IRDAI, GDPR, and TRAI.
Piyush also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Dvara SmartGold, where he spearheaded cloud-based transformation initiatives, application modernization, and the implementation of digital platforms to enhance business efficiency.
His extensive 11-year journey with JM Financial as Associate Director further strengthened his expertise in managing technology across multiple financial services domains, including Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Lending, Housing Finance, Investment Banking, and Corporate IT. He led large technology teams, drove cybersecurity initiatives, supported regulatory compliance, and managed critical IT operations.
Earlier in his career, Piyush held leadership roles at organizations such as GlobeOp Financial Services, where he managed global infrastructure operations across the US, UK, and APAC regions, along with experience in IT security consulting, infrastructure management, and enterprise technology solutions.
A strong advocate for secure innovation, Piyush holds prestigious certifications including Certified CISO, Certified DPO, and CISM, along with an IIM background.
Through his journey, Piyush continues to demonstrate the importance of combining technology, cybersecurity, governance, and leadership to build resilient organizations.
